DC area SA recommendations

After 10 years of great service on amgs at 3 diff merc dealers, I had my first experience with BMW service and it was not so great.

So, I'm wondering if anyone has a SA/dealer in the DC area they can recommend. Preferably NoVA, but will make the trek to MD if needed.

Also, does BMW send service satisfaction surveys? I got one that looks like it's dealer specific, but I am hoping to get an official one from BMW.

Thanks!

My personal recommendation is BMW Fairfax. They've been most reliable for me.

Sterling is biggest but there are countless horror stories (I have them too) and Alexandria is just way overloaded so they always seem to over promise and under deliver.

My first and only BMW service experience was with Fairfax. Wasn't the best. Had to wait 6 hours because they didn't have the rear differential oil for the 1200 mile service. At least they didn't give me some BS and say it didn't need changing or use the wrong oil. The SA was cool though.

Okay, thanks. That is actually where I was considering going for my next maintenance.

Did they do both front an rear diffs or just the rear?

That was an issue at all dealers at one point.

I used BMW of Fairfax on my M3...service was ok. This was back in 2010 when I lived there...not sure if it's gotten better and worse.
