Love that track, one of my favorites. We raced the south course back in the day (motorcycles). M5 Comp was flying on that full course!

Looks like the AMG GT63S is quicker though - rear wheel steering helping?

5 seconds quicker too.... driver difference as well probably helping that some i'd imagine but definitely the quicker car, surprisingly. They reach the same exact speeds on the straights. AMG has more tire which probably helps.

Big tire difference. Same with the gt3rs, but even more so.

Awesome track!

Excellent performance by GT63--very heavy.

M5C driver < aggressive and skilled than GT63 driver. Hard to say from the video and driver, but the acceleration of the M5C looked like it still needed more ferocity! Again, could be the driver.

ZL1! $76k!

It's not clear to me why the tests are not done using identical tire types across the board.

Not all sizes will be available for all of the cars.

Plus is a sport cup 2 or pzero corsa really a realistic option for a 4 door sedan in every situation that car is likely to see?

In saying that, I’d have liked to have seen them on the same Tyre. Perhaps the M5 CS or M8 CS will come with Sport Cup 2 as an option

Unless the runs are back to back, the time is meaningless.

They use stock vehicles - some cars obviously come with Cup 2's while others do not.

They take the best time for the car across a number of different drivers.

It's my home track and I am thinking of taking the M5 out next month for Fallfest to hurt some feelings! Can't wait!

Understood regarding the tires - but in some cases the cars do offer different tire options. Having the best tire option for each would be helpful. And - being honest - I did not know that CD uses all of its drivers for every car and picks the best time for each?
