Windshield sunscreen.....

I want to order a sunscreen for my windshield but they have three different models:

1)With 1 rear-view mirror camera option

2)With 2 rear-view mirror camera options

3)Without rear-view camera option

Have 2020 M5 on order with Exec and Driver Asst pkg, not night vision.

Anybody know the correct one I need to order? Thanks.

I decided to put ceramic tint on windshield along with side windows. It dramatically reduced the radiant heat coming into car and feel better inside when sun is directly infront of you when driving.

Also, one less thing to fly around inside the car while driving.

That may work, what % is on your front windshield.

I did the same. Ceramic all around. 30% on rear and sides. 50% on windshield... which is basically clear. Even on 100 degree days, my ac blower would never be higher than 1 bar. Ceramics make a huge difference on the amount of radiant heat that enters the cabin.

I'm not sure on % for windshield but its pretty much non existent after its on and looks like nothing there. I agree with "Eurohorses" that the amount of radiant heat is reduced dramatically with the ceramic on all glass. I drive east going to work and west on way home and the heat i feel on my arms and body through windshield is noticeably less.

Are you talking about the type of screen you put up when you park? If so, I just use these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KIFISX2.

I live in Phoenix and they work fine in the summer sun. The standard size fits the M5 well, pull the visors down and you are good to go. They typically last a few summers, but are inexpensive.

I'd do ceramic tint. 5% if they have it. It will work just as well if not better than a sun screen and doesn't seem to be much more expensive.

This is identical to one that I've got in my F90. Fits like a glove. I attached a pic that's kind hard to see the sunshade due the shinny reflection; but I'm sure it makes its point.
