Mine squeal as well - common problem. Dealer response is "normal for these cars." If you stand on the brakes hard it will go away for a while but only temporary. Previous F10's and this F90 all did it. My E60 M5's never made a peep. All have had steel brakes.

My local BMW dealer was able to chamfer the brake pads and lube the surfaces to subside the brake squeak. No charge at all and no squeaks....for now

Myth Buster Time. Do CCBs eliminate squeaking and squeals like your driving the city garbage truck?

Love the brake squeak, it tells me I can rely on them

3,200 miles in on my 2020 M5 Comp and they just reminded they're there. More of a churp at this point but I know how this story goes.

I can confirm, yes they do eliminate the noise.

Silent, unless I’ve just washed the car. My f10’s CCBs were noisy though, but still less than a proper racing pad equipped steel brake.

I bedded in my steel brakes at 300 miles. Now at 1900 miles with no brake squeal at all.

The loud brake squeal noise and crazy black brake dust is due to the cheap oem pads they use.........I had the issues and fixed it by replacing the pads with Porterfields r4s street pads...just call them and order direct.....now I have zero squeal and less dust
