M5 f90 square tire setup
Any chance we could put a set of rear wheels up front so as to run a square tire setup? Would really help out with tire rotation and more importantly tire selection, not being trapped out with circumphrance. Besides since many want a more agressive stance the front would now be out 12mm more and you could still put a 12mm spacer in the rear to keep things in line. Also many rim manufacturers will custom make you an offset so you could then compensate for the 12mm spacer in the rear at that time and do away with it. Then we could run 285 square.

I now have two sets of the OE 705M 19" wheels and was debating on using the Rear wheels on all four corners for Summer and the Fronts on all four corners in Winter.

Fronts / Back reversed
I put the back tires on the front and vice versa, here are the pics. Didn't drive it off driveway but didn't experience an issue lock to lock. Driver's side is reversed, passenger side factory.
Sorry for kinking your neck, wasn't successful making them upright. lol. Would get more rock damage down the side with the wider front. Front wheel on the back is too narrow, |

Option 2 - get four FRONT rims, put 285's on all four, and space out the rear 12mm to match. Tire footprint will be the same, just on a 1/2 inch narrower rim. It doesn't change much about the tire appearance on a 1/2 inch narrower rim. Shawn |
