I understand you probably got these from someone's comp. But These are not competition wheels nor are the forged. These are simply the black 20" option available to all M5.

789M forged are the competition package wheels.

I would do a little searching before posting and you will see these are selling for around $2500. While the 789 forged are going for $4000 at best.

I wish you luck.

Free bump as 706M wheels are awesome. (He does say or best offer. Maybe the best offer can be $2500?)

Love your over confident comment about how these wheels do not come on a F90 Comp

What lol? Feel like your being pedantic and he's not wrong. The 789s come by default if you pick the comp. Doesn't mean you can't select something else like the pictures you attached.

Yea I guess if you had to say a wheel is specific to the M5 Comp -- it would be the 789M for sure. Of course you can buy them separately and put them on a non-comp. At the same time you can add any of the other wheels to the car after selecting the comp package. However, when ordering, at least with the configurator, the 789M is what comes with the comp package. The $1300 up charge for the other wheels is eliminated though after selecting the comp package. Anyway I don't know why I typed all of this. I need to stop reading these forums lol.

Sure, but I am just concerned about how the previous poster said "you might have got them from someone else's comp" lmao like he is an authority in this and that the 706M is not a competition package wheel and I don't think I am being pedantic by pointing this out...

see window sticker, these wheels actually DO come as a part of the comp package

Sorry but you are talking about when the Comp package was initially introduced as an option. These days, there is really no "specific wheel", you can pick either of the three wheel styles without any upcharge

You can select 2 of the 3 for $1300 up charge without comp package. Picking the 789M forces the comp package if that makes sense. When selecting the comp package it defaults to the 789M but you can pick other two as noted. I don’t really care about any of this but as a result some people think of the 789M as “the comp wheels.” But those wheels a comp does not make! They’re all good options. 😄

Lol the 789m wheels come with a $7800 upcharge known as the comp package. You can’t build an M5 base with them. You may be able to buy them from your dealer after but certainly not for free.
These are also the only forged option. Hence why they come with the comp. Now of course you can spec the comp without the 789m. But who would do that. Haha
