Wow, you were getting robbed at the Porsche dealer!

Ok, so as the end all to the lease comparisons, here are the deals I was given. I have VIP status at both the BMW and Porsche dealerships, so each car was 6% off MSRP, fleet discounts, etc.

For this M8 Comp, I was paying $20 more a month for the Porsche. IMO, this lease rate is beyond what BMW should be asking and makes people in my position "level up" to a Porsche and then on top, the pinnacle GTS.
The GTS line, is their pure performance oriented line, hence the scarce sightings and availability.

BMW $1,698mo

Porsche $1,678mo

I do not have a dog in the hunt, but I don't think M8 and Mustang look anything alike. Are we talking about the current Mustang?

Nooooooooooooo, it's less!!!!
Naaaa, it isn't. The closest I could get was $400 more; that was a lease estimate, though.

This is a woefully equipped spec on the BMW, too, which contributes to this debate... in no useful way. Anyhoo...

Like everyone else... oh, other than you.

You must be special ... congrats—care to elaborate as to the 'how'.

I'll send you my 911 spec since $1,000/month premium over a comparably-priced BMW is a win... lol, relatively speaking.

I think he is getting better lease payments because he has the VIP status.

So are the lease payments more than the monthly payments if the car is purchased for the standard 60 months?

Could be... or not. I'd love to see the written offer.

Vic55 any explanation for Porsche not offering insulting... I mean offering comparable/competitive lease rates?

There is no vip status--- 6% off is 6% off... BMW has 11% all in triple net but they also have flagship depending on build dates (M8). Porsche has 9% from msrp to invoice plus a unique holdback system based on msrp, model... its deep on certain cars.

He isnt sharing all the details in regards to the residuals, cash down, net caps, etc. Cayenne's lease like shit. PFS has monsterous money factors vs the .00086 of BMW.

The M8 with the most weak negotiator will still have a lower lease payment then a Cayenne with PFS and their money factors.

I need to see proof here cause its just not right unless one is paying way over on an M8 and waaaaaaaay under on a Cayenne.

Whatever gents, this is getting petty....
The bottom line, these are the numbers I were given and I choose to level up to a Porsche over the much more common BMW marque. ,I also personally needed a change. Simple as that and to each his own.

Please do share the dealership you are working with,

Im paying about $600 less a month for my M8 but would have gladly paid that price for a cayenne GTS if it was an option.

Im not upset about buying it i usually keep my Porsches longer then 3 years but those seem like base cayenne coupe lease numbers.

Gents, you can't compare your rates to mine! All leases are structured differently! Also, depends on time of year / what the month bears in programs, etc. Come on now, is this "Amateur night at the Apollo?!
For those that don't know the phrase
Apples to apples lease structure and MSRP (which are close enough), those are the numbers.

Dude what are you talking about, there are entire threads comparing leases, and even forums.

You are overpaying for the M8 like crazy, and the porsche rate is just made up unless by "lease structure" you mean $15,000 down.

Your "VIP" status is also a joke, ive bought multiple GT cars and still own one as well as multiple other porsches from my life long porsche dealership and everyone enjoyed a good chuckle at your VIP status and half priced cars it gets you. Instead of shutting us up and posting info or numbers you get angry and call us amateurs.

Come on dude no ones taking you seriously at this point, why not make US look like fools and post up your amazing porsche deal and sub par M8 deal?

Folks, if I could bring our attention back to the more serious and literal subject of the thread since we've strayed quite a bit—@OP: please do that. Or don't so we can continue the fun...
