I'm not going for any records and I have not run anything other than map 1 so far and i run 3 gallons of E85 with 18 gallons of 91oct. Good to know I can run map 2 with that combo

Ahh that's right, but even 3, 5 and 6 (with above 6psi set), act additive. Screenshot attached of map 3. I don't know how they say that's absolute. Pretty strong correlation between ECU requested and actual... -Edit: Looks like the app failed to attach the screenshot.

Not sure which was the type O the 3 or the 18 but either way that might still be too low. If you're running 18 and 2 that would put you to 92-93octane. I would probably put 4-6 gallons per tank and make your mix E20-E30 which more like 93-94 octane with the adding cooling from E85. However, I haven't tested any JB4 setting with E85 mixes. I only tested with MS101/91 or MS109 mixes. Maybe try for an E30 mix and send logs to Terry and see how it looks. Mixing Chart for E85... He suggest you base your E85 as 100 octane not 105. http://www.wallaceracing.com/ethanol-mix-calc.php

For instance, when you get to the pump look at your BMW app and it will show you how many gallons you have in your tank. If it say 7 then you know you are adding 13. Just figure out 30% of 13. For me (Android user) I just ask my phone.. lol "hey Google, what is 30% of 13?" and then I know it's 3.9 Cake

Those look better. Timing (ign_1) is still low, but at least it's climbing as the RPMs rise like it should, and not pulling back until you shift. It may just take the car a while to adjust and advance the timing some more. I'd stick with map 1, mix in a few gallons of the GT260 if you can and check the logs again in a few days. Is your car a comp? Your stock boost is very close to my map 2 and your map 1 is more than my map 2. Maybe when BMS said it was okay to run Map 2 on pump gas they were thinking for non comps?
I did a run on Map 5, 2.6 0-60, 10.17 1/4 mile. Average boost over that run was 22.46psi, your average boost on Map 2 run was 22.82psi...

Here is a log on map 1
And the draggy got go with No sure what happened at launch? Look at my 0-10. This was a decent time .. but I feel like that 0-10 should have been in the 0.4 or 0.5 and this would have been a very sold sub 3 run @ 0.4 it would have been about 2.91 assuming other deltas were the same ... still seems kind slow !! Where is my 2.7!!! Acceleration was really weak .. look at the Gs and then the funky spike in g at higher speeds Wtf? Terry hasn't responded to my posts yet |

I think the first ten seconds of the log is capturing my foot on the accelerator with my foot on break
That's why you see pedals go to 100 and rpms climb to about 3000... they level off .. I release brake and boost begins to climb Nevertheless the time was weak af 0-10 |

You should message Terry directly, or call BMS, or hit up the support and logs section on N54tech. He has worked on comp cars to dial them in since they run a different tune than the non comps. Also try launching the car with just a slight brake boost instead of launch control and see how that goes

Yes I have
Terry said the following: Log doesn't look but, maybe maybe map1 is a better fit for your fuel, with a higher WGDC. You could raise duty bias by 20 across the board and log map1. —- Do you know how I implement what he is suggesting? |

You're up 3 tents of a second on one of my good runs, at 10mph. Power's not the issue with this run.
Do you feel the power cut at all after you lift off the brakes? If I hold the brake down after launch control engages, it spins a little and cuts the power to regain traction. That always puts me over 3 seconds to 60. It would help if you could do a 60-130 run sometime...

Ill try to get some of those times this weekend or later at night this week.
In that run, I don't think there was a cut in power in terms of a wheel spin. There was no early shift due to traction loss ... No wheel chirp either This got me thinking: when launch control is engaged what RPM are the cars set to launch at? I've looked at some videos and I notice that non M5 comps launch closer to 3k. Is this similar for the Comp? If my meme pry serves me my launches typically hit max RPM before releasing break around 2.5-2.6k. Do comp have a lower RPM maximum when launch control is engaged than the non-Comps? Btw, the car feels smoking fast when I'm cruising 40-100 60-130 .. I'll get times but I think those times will be decent ... what feels slow / off is the 0-60 JA |

The timing issues everyone are raising also have me wondering what is going on and why the engine timing is so slow .. I'll log some runs on Map 0 (stock) for comparative purposes ... I just want my 2.8 0-60 (consistently) and a good quarter mile in the mid to low 10s on 93 octane/pump.
I'll be happy until I go full stage 2 |

Open up your JB4 and click on "settings" Then click on "User Adjustment" On the right had side of this page you will see "Duty Bias". He wants you to add 20 to each number. So if it says 10, 10, 15, 20, 30... you would change them to read 30, 30, 35, 40, 50... After you're done click save at the bottom and log some runs and send them back to him. It's also very hard to tell what your car is doing from 0-60 runs. It's much better to do 4th gear pulls or 60-130 runs as there is much less variables to consider.
