I am using the same setup I had on my G30. Just transferred those mats over. OEM mats for the front, weather tech for the rear, OEM in the trunk.

I do feel BMW needs to come up with better options for mats for M cars. My M6 GC had no M-branded mats, either....and I'm pretty sure BMW has these for other M models.

3W Mats are the best. I have had them in my RRSSC for two years and now in my M5 also.

I have a guy making me M5 emblems that are the same size/embossed type as the Weathertech stickers.
Will let you know how they turn out....

I went with the Tuxmats. I have the Weathertech mats and trunk liner in my F15. I like the look and feel of the Tuxmats much more than the Weathertech (which are great BTW), but the install of the Tuxmats was awful - just too much engagement required to decide on where you want to install clips to hold it down. And a few spots (namely behind the front seats) didn't seem to line up 100%, causing some folding and bunching when adjusting the front seats. Now that they are in and I was able to work out all of the kinks, I love them.

Finally got around to taking a couple of quick pics of the Tuxmats. Apologies for the mess, the weather hasn't been great in Toronto (and two kids in the back seat don't help!).
I like that they cover almost every inch of the carpeting, so no stains. I may end up keeping them in year round as the finish is very nice. As I mentioned in my early post, installing them was a headache as the clips to secure the mats are not pre-installed, so you have to make the call on where the best spot are and clip them on yourself. Not hard, just time consuming. Hope this helps! |

There will be so many that in the future You'll have to pay for the option to not have any!

Now I just need to get my hands on the M5C... Its been sitting at the port in Germany. The wait is killing me. I've got the mats, reflector deletes and black hood and trunk emblems waiting...
