I had the dealer swap those crappy Pirellis off for the Michelin’s. Thank god they had another new comp with the same wheel and the good tires. Simple.

Nonsense, the P4S are better for everyday use. Its day and night, you don't have to be a 'racecar' driver to determine that.

Right. And unlike some other people here, I had the misfortune of living with the Pirellis for 30 months on my F10 M5. They were clearly inferior to the Michelin’s with everyday use. And I don’t take a huge sedan to the track, so I can’t comment as a “race car” driver.

Really?! My SA said that it's against dealer policy to swap out tires on vehicles if the customer isn't happy with the brand that shipped on the car.

I would imagine some dealers don’t want to do it since sales typically has to pay service to make the switch.

My dealer had no prob doing it. They had another car with the same wheel and the Michelin tires. Just a bolt on swap, no dismounting.

I have done this before and have been told tires are not vin-specific so they can be swapped (as long as the wheel and size stays the same. If they have a car in stock I’d ask them to do it...but maybe you’ll get lucky from the factory.

everyday use? people are making it seem like the pzero is not daily driveable. For christ sake the car is AWD, what are you guys losing traction with pzero's?

Do you daily-drive P Zeros yourself? I did for 1000s of miles on previous cars and I didn't like them... so I replaced them with Pilot SuperSports. It wasn't night-and-day different--it was next-day different... and better in almost every respect. As my experience and ability to directly provide a firsthand comparison between the two increased, the Michelins widened the gap. Now I replace Pirellis as a matter of course.

I drove my 2020 M5 back from Texas on Pirellis... now it has Michelin PS4Ss; read into that what you (should)will.

Yep. And I know I watched a review where the M5 did something like .3 second better to 60 wearing the Michelin’s. I know I saw another where the professional test driver stated if the car had Michelin’s the track time would be much better. Problem is, I don’t have the energy to search and post for a troll with no experience driving on both tires. So there you go.

The Michelin’s are FAR superior, and I am not sure about the PS4, but back in the F10 days the Michelin PSS was cheaper too.
