Best ET for 21 inch hre wheel??

Hi Everyone - I'm having trouble figuring out the exact ET for my HRE P101 set up. I'm going with 21s and 285/30/21 and 295/30/21 tires, any help would be appreciated. It seems most owners with that setup don't know their offset, so I can't find out what the look should be. I want the wheels flush, no negative camber, you know the look .

I assume you've seen pics of the 21" BBS FI-R on the F90. What do you think about that fitment?

Have you ordered the HRE's yet, or still thinking about the offsets?

I'm trying to put in the order this week, before end of year. I don't think the hre recommended offset is enough and nobody can tell me what the right offset is / should be.

Did you mention the recommended offset from HRE was et23 and et29? I would at least go as low as the BBS FI-R offset of et22 and et24. Question is if you can go even lower without rubbing.

I agree, 23 and 29 isn't enough but a few shops said the hre offset has the wheel outward at 5mm and 11mm.

Yes, correct. 11mm front and 5mm rear.

Have you seen this thread about spacers with the OEM wheels?

https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1577139

Some do up to 15mm front and 12mm rear.

15mm front spacers is like ET19 with 10" wide front wheels, and 12mm rear spacers is like ET22 with 11" wide rear wheels.

So the BBS ET22 and ET24 fitment is like having 12mm spacers front and 10mm rear on the OEM wheels.

Agree. My recommendation on offsets would be 18 front and 24 rear or 16 front and 22 rear. Depending on how aggressive you go.

This is super helpful. So if I'm doing the H&R m550 springs and the drop is 1.2 or 1.3 what do you think I should do? I don't want the wheels to rub or have negative camber, I just want the perfectly flush look where the wheels line up even with the top of the wheel well, but also don't stick out too far.

Can you see my last post below in response and see what you think knowing the springs I'll have?

My recommendation with that setup would be 21x10 et 18 front and 21x11 et 24 rear and go with MPS4S in 285/30 front and 295/30 rear. I’m going HRE R101 LW in 20” and doing same offsets.

However, I’m sure if you let HRE know what you want they can give perfect fitment recommendation.

Those are the exact tires I bought. Thank you. Hre keeps recommending ET 23 and 29....
