I would probably call it more of a regret, but here is my 992 C4S.

Soon to be replaced by one of the folloiwng:

Huracan Performante / Evo
992 Turbo S
Mclaren 720s.

I only got it because at the time the Turbo had not been released and I wanted the dealer to take me seriously for the Turbo order.

14 Months later I am still on the waiting list for a Turbo and the dealers answer as to when I am getting it is still "Eff Knows

I can flip my waiting list place, but its been over a year. Another few months won't kill me.

If I don't have the Turbo come summer Ill get the Lambo or Mclaren.

I flew into the private section of PIT last night from Austin and this was parked.

Here's the story. Air Force pilot. They get fuel allowances. Flies in once every other month to see his family for the weekend and then flies out.

Now, THAT is a super"car".

Is that the 812? As an owner, how do you enjoy such a car? Do you just enjoy riding around town in it or is it something you take to the racetrack? Is it just the Ferrari experience? Just curious as I have the M5 and I actually enjoy the interior and technology more than the performance aspect of the car. I will not be going to the racetrack but The quick acceleration when getting on highways can be fun.

Great questions, Oh man...I could type a novel to try and express this. I'll do my best to keep it brief.

Yes, it's an 812. I had a few others prior, but I had a F12, then Pista, and then the 812. For my use, the Pista was too much for the street, and I love the GT aspects of the F12/812...plus, nothing comes close to the sound of a V12, and mine is modded so she screams like a snarling banshee.

I love my M5, excellent all around car. Tech and performance is excellent imo. I don't use the 812 that often, the M5 is my "go to"...I use the Ferrari for driving, or date night with the wife. For race track stuff, I have a E36 track dedicated car.

The Ferrari is an experience, and it does get a lot of attention (which is annoying)...but the M5 can go anywhere in style and in quickly.
