My car is a 2021 X5M, (I know this is for M5's, but service interval is the about the same) and it's is coming up for it's 3 year annual service. I only have 10,500 miles on it. I know it will get the engine oil & oil filter changed.
I believe it would also qualify for the brake fluid change.
I've read conflicting posts about whether the engine air filters and spark plugs will also be changed.
Has anyone here with a 2020 or 2021 F90 with low mileage also had the spark plugs changed at the 3 year service? I believe the air filters on the F90 get changed at the 4 year service.

Every 3rd engine oil service (approx. 30,000 mi)
Change engine oil and oil filter.
Replace air filter element (more often in dusty conditions).
Replace spark plugs.

At 10k miles little to nothing is necessary but you should pay or document that it is done to preserve your warranty if the warranty matters to you.

Yes, l see the same info in the 2021 service booklet that came with my car.
Even though to me it means at the 3 year and/or 30,000 mile point, it all should be done, I bet the approx. 30,000 miles that is in parenthesis is where the dealer will probably say that since my car only has less than 11,000 miles, the air filters and spark plugs won't be changed. I suppose the keyfob reader at the dealer tells them what to do?

BobsM3Coup, during your 1200-mile break in service was the oil service interval reset so that the next service was due 1 year later? Or, if the oil service interval was not reset then your next service was due 1 year after your in-service date.

It appears from reading the forums that some dealers reset and some dealers don’t reset the oil service interval during the 1200-mile break in service.

My M5 just had it's third year oil change, 18k miles, and they did all of the above. All of it was covered by the scheduled maintenance at no cost.

My dealer did not reset the oil service interval at the 1200 mile service. It notified me about a month before the 1 year in service date that an oil service was due the next month.

Just an update.
Yesterday, the MyBMW app on phone stated that the spark plugs and air filters along with engine oil and filter and brake fluid change are due this month. Previously it only showed oil & filter and brake fluid change were due.
I'll see what occurs at the dealership in a couple of weeks.
