They actually built 4 of them in our region about 5-6 years ago. At least two have already failed. There's one a few blocks away from my doctors' office, and I stopped there for a slushie after a long wait at an afternoon appointment in a very warm waiting room. They were running a promotional "happy hour" sale with $1.00 large slushies that I had no idea about, and it was most certainly a bargain at twice the price given how hot/thirsty I was feeling.

We have had one near me for at least 8 years; Initially fairly tasty and good quality. I stopped going years ago due to a definite decline in the food quality. If you don't have one, you aren't missing anything.

Went to a really good Mexican place this weekend called El Perico Ranchero in Upland. Excellent carne asada. There is also one in Rancho Cucamonga. Will be going there again very soon.

A bit unrelated to that specific statement but it reminded me of something that is well known in Japan. Taxi drivers know where the best ramen shops are. Staying within the confines of this thread, Japanese taxi drivers are the best judges of good ramen. And for the record, pretty much all ramen shops are subpar here in the US in comparison.
