I have a brand new LCI Sterckenn front lip. I was planning on putting it in as soon as I got my M5C in August but the BMW M splitter was put on at port. It's completely brand new never even opened in the box still. I may offer it up for sale or keep as a backup spare splitter once this M one ultimately gets scraped, dinged etc.

Imho the Sterckenn splitter is the best option right now. I love mine. Getting a bit of damage fixed on my center piece right now. Heads up, if you damage it beyond repair, you can't buy just a single piece, you have to buy a whole new three piece splitter. Which kind of sucks tbh.

Anyone have experience ordering through bmwpartspros? They have some really good pricing on the CS front lip and rear diffuser compared to other vendors.

I got this one. Haven’t even opened it up yet but installing this weekend. Pricing was right, fast shipping too. I like the 1 piece design and like that it doesn’t cover any of the bumper but sits completely underneath. Some might feel completely the opposite though and dislike for all those reasons. Will report back with pics. Also got their side skirts (OEM style)

Just got my Sterckenn yesterday, can't wait to install it soon, but the instructions were missing.
It was truly packaged with nuts and bolts with washers which is kind of odd and it looks like i will need loctite as the nuts don't have the rubber ETA: just got emailed the instructions from Sterckenn, and as I thought it is more involved to install with drilling 15 holes in the bumper than other lips I've installed in the past and was basically plug in play. But the quality and finish is equal to OEM M Performance as they're both made in Europe Last edited by NoMods; 02-20-2023 at 07:52 AM.. |
