M8c can complete 1/4 mile in sub 11 seconds.
Cawow has 11 second flat record

I saw video on YouTube of an m8c barely losing to an 22 m5cs, so I'd say yeah, an m8c is faster than an m5c. If a cs could barely hold an m8c off that's a good indicator.

I have had an R8 for a brief two months before the engine went boom after twinturbo build and to be honest, it is not what I expected in terms of luxury and drivability. 2018 model year. But the V10 was screaming and I loved every second of it.

Did you get it new? My R8 is built more solid than my Bentley was.

I mean, yeah S-Tronic is jerky but equally as jerky as every other DCT including M-DCT and PDK.

I bought it used, 8000 miles. Build quality is still far behind M cars.

I've had 2 Ms and 6 or 7 BMWs in total - they were all well built cars (Except for one 745i) but the R8 is built better than all of them.

I say that as a BMW fan boy who will never get another Audi again because their customer service is far and wide the worst I've ever experienced.

I don't know if this is because the Gen 2 facelift are built better (I don't think that's the case) or if the previous owner of your car did something to it .

Second that on the 7 series, I had a 750Li Xdrive and it came with bunch of problems, even a timing chain recall. I never experienced Audi customer service first hand but like with most service centers nowadays if you don’t have the top tier car, you won’t even get a loaner. My R8 was used, almost like new. Maybe the straight piped exhaust was the fault behind my opinion because it made everything rattle inside. I would get another one just for the V10 sound.

Yeah, those 7s had a fair share of lemons. I've got a QS on my R8 and it's ridiculously loud so I can't imagine how crazy it would be straight piped!!! The sound of the car is really intoxicating.

You put twin turbo's onto a car and then complain about drivability?

My tuned M8 would crush any R8, is what I'm saying.

Any R8?…lol
Any naturally aspirated R8 maybe…but twin turbo R8 will destroy any M8 including yours no matter how highly tuned it is…period.

What are you talking about? You're saying if a V10 plus R8 adds an aftermarket twin turbo? Well yes then it could be 1700 HP. I'm talking about a tuned V10 R8. I could also fully rebuild my entire motor, with larger turbos, stage 3 tune, etc and create a 2,000 HP supercar, but we are getting unrealistic.

You're the one who said any r8 so what are you taking about? And good luck building 2000hp M8

Well, at that matters is my M8 would crush your car

And I don't want a 2,000 HP car. I'll beat any R8 on the road today that doesn't have major aftermarket adjustments.
