I have the same problem. I think now they've blown a fuse or worse, the angels are both out as are the auto-leveling headlights, my headlights are now pointing too low and not self adjusting. I'm regreting ever messing with this mod.

Hey guys Ive had this kit for almost a year now since i got my car, so I pretty familiar with it cuz I've switched out bulbs for different colors a few times lol.
Get ahold of Camarross305 cuz I think he has that issue figured out. I heard that he was trying out a different harness that fixes these probs. DON'T QUOTE ME!!! I heard from someone else. As for my kit Runs Perfect!!!! I get compliment all the time!

You might want to check if you didn't put the circuit on the headlight housing and jammed it up, make sure its all the way at the bottom of the housing. Also make sure the little connecting rods from your lower control arms connected to your headlight leveling servos are connected (Dont ask me how it happened but one of me little rods popped off and I noticed my headlights doing the same thing...just a FYI)

Hope this helps guys! GL

hummmmm I just bought my kit from another member but Camaross even posted that he would warranty the kit; these recent comments are a bit of concern.

it should be a concern for everyone who buys this kit... I have yet to get a refund from him and it has been close to two months...

Damn!!!

Well I bought my kit uninstalled from another member here who bought it from Camaross so my transaction was much smoother. I paid on Tuesday and got them on Thursday from Mass. and I live in Cali.

We did the install on Saturday and it was pretty much all standard except for one small thing. Camaross shipped H11 bulbs instead of H8 to my seller. The bulb itself is the same size but the locking brackets are different so we had to cut the brackets a bit to get them to fit in the H8 sockets. Other than that, damn these things are stupid bright... maybe too bright at night but during the day they are great.

I had ordered this kit awhile ago and Camaross305 had been great with assisting me with my problems at the time but I'm having real issues with his shipping times. First time around, it took much longer then he quoted. This time around, I ordered a second set of bulbs and still have yet to receive them and it's almost been 2 months. I've heard similar stories with other Canadian buyers.

they are supposed to be H11s.. In the diy it says that you will need to trim them to make them fit well.. But yeah VERY bad costumer service with this guy VERY slow shipping and VERY slow at sending a refund...

Damn missed that in the guide- thanks for clarifying but why not just send us the H8's?

I guess buying used (not really since never installed) was lucky for me.

All the issues have been resolved as far as the lights not coming on sometimes at startup. It was due to the harness wires not being thick enough. I now use a thicker harness. As far skoot3r the only reason the refund took a while was because of his paypal not excepting my refund. We got the issue resolved though

I just did this install -- VERY IMPRESSIVE - VERY BRIGHT -

This DIY is a little different since I had different parts - but I contacted camaross305 and he walked me thru it - Thanks for the quick response.

Everything was easy except for 2 things:
1- The bulbs were easy to fit, despite their longer size. But it was the twist lock that took a while ... comparing the OE H8 bulb I saw a slight difference in the 3 twist-lock-tabs on the bulbs. It took 20 min EACH to try and fit, then cut the tabs down, then fit them.

2- The ballast is slim, but nevertheless = LARGE and so is the unit attached to the ballast (not sure its name) ... there's plenty of space in the engine compartment around the light assemblies - but it's all a bit hard to get to - and the lenght of wiring makes it tough too.

Other then that -- I'm happy. Thanks camaross305
