how often do other cars get triggered by your M5?

I find it funny everyday as I’m just driving regular and someone tailgates and blocks me or speeds up significantly.

Just like today an angry soccer mom on her Discovery going slow on the left lane and I had to pass her on the right and she didn’t like that. Lol.

Happens to me all the time. The day I got it off the dealership lot, not even 2 minutes later a Raptor got triggered and was riding my ass wanting to race.

I think it depends on how you drive. If you're a dick, others are going to be dicks.

Yeah, they say drive defensively, which only applies to people who can keep cool and not flip a lid at someone going full road rage.

If you’re driving relatively dick-ish, like cutting in and out, passing on the right, and causing others to brake or act erratically, you’re going to trigger the unstable people who had a rough week and need a scapegoat for their aggression.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s easy to just speed up and maneuver safely around cars when you’re in a beastly m5, but to others the perception is you’re driving like an asshole.

With all of that said, I can say I have grown out of most of that… if someone is angry I passed on the right, I just let them spazz out themselves and ignore them, but drive calm and collected to avoid any incidents. It’s going to be hard to assign fault when your argument is you instigated or escalated road rage.

There is almost no point now a days.
I have people driving super slow in the left lane, right lane is open.
then a another down the highway drive 20 below the limit in the middle lane.
its so randomly annoying. I get the I'm doing the speed limit in the left lane. tailgate all you want (they do not care).
10 years ago it was not like this in my city. I fucking hate it.

Yeah. Police should pull over people who camp out the left lane. It’s a passing lane. If you aren’t passing, you get over. It isn’t a “passing eventually” lane.

When I first got my car back in Jan 2023, I admit I drove like a knob. Not all the time but maybe on the way home from work on a Friday or if I'm out running errands on the weekend. Nothing crazy but a bit aggressive and this pissed the odd person off. The last few months, I've gotten into the habit of listening to audio books which causes me to drive more subdued. If I'm listening to XM and a good song comes on well......
