Do you guys know or think it's possible based on this experience that one can order the M235 in the deep-sea blue which is a 228 color? Without having to pay the five grand because it's a color within the same 2 series?

Mark228i, My current BMW 128i has the Oyster and black combination but the exterior is Alpine White. I just love my car so much. My lease is coming due and I am trying to figure out what I want as the interior inside my car but I am still not tired of the Oyster. The black exterior on your car is gorgeous! Is the back of the seats covered in the Oyster? My car has the black plastic in the back while the front is the Oyster Dakota Leather. So far I keep seeing only the vinyl seats at the dealerships.

Congratulations on your beautiful new BMW! I wonder when I get my new 228i will I be able to change my user name?

I noticed that you did not get Navigation? I love my three year old Garmin and I played with the Navigation at the dealership but still love my Garmin the best so now I am not sure what to do.

I have this exact interior combination on my 535i. I don't know why they make it impossible to get on the 235i. Does anybody really want white carpet and mats?

Mark228i, I love how your car is equipped and how it looks! I have the Oyster/black combination and I love it so much that I want it in my new vehicle. I was going to stay with Alpine White but that Jet Black is so gorgeous that I am not sure now. Thanks for sharing. I also love how the 228i handled and the new technology it has. I am going to add the driving assistant package as I am petite and need all the help I can in backing up and parking.

So how exactly is it priced with the modern line? Seems to have a lot of extra bits here and there, along with a different set of wheels that doesn't pop up in the pricing guide.
