Hey everyone,
Yesterday i got rear ended, while parked on a street . The car behind me was also parked, they were trying to leave the spot but instead hit the gas and kept the wheel straight. Hit me straight in the middle. They were about 6 feet behind me. It seems i now need to replace my rear bumper (and maybe other internal components or etc. Idk), as the bumper has holes on the impact site, and is crumpled on top of bumper via a huge crack running from one side to the other.
I have a 2019 F90 M5 competition in Snapper Rocks Blue colorway.

Does anyone know of a solid/legit body shop in Brooklyn NY that can handle my paint color (main concern) , replace the rear bumper, and also do a good job?

Does anyone know if actual dealerships like BMW of Manhattan perform such repairs and painting?

I've had terrible experience in the past with local body shops who had issues matching a grey color on an infiniti fx35, which had to be re-done 3 times. So since the m5 is snapper rocks blue, im concerned about getting it matched correctly the first time without having to redo it.

I was at a traffic light yesterday, and as the light turned green and traffic started to move the car in the lane next to me was rear ended. I was like what the heck. I mean the car seemed to be moving as they should have been. I guess the car behind them just accelerated too fast.
I would take the car to BMW for repair. If the one close to you has a bad reputation, I would find one somewhere else. Either way good luck. I hope the repair is flawless. My wife was rear ended in a drive thru a few years ago. The person drove off but she got the license plate and the person was arrested. The damage was surface damage to the bumper, but the bumper needed to be replaced. My wife had the repair at BMW and the repair was unnoticeable.

For what it's worth, Keeler BMW in Albany area does EXCELLENT repairs. rebuilt my car two years ago. LOL.

Bit north of you but an option. They know what they are doing. They have the correct equipment and expertise.

Not brooklyn but close and totally worth the trip.

Call Finishline collision in valley steam. He’s done several of my cars over the years and his work it top of the top.

He has matched pearl colors and those are hard.
