Little bit sticky steering wheel

I got the 2019 M5 Comp with 17000 miles on it. The steering wheel feels a little bit sticky. I have tried everything I can like chemicals guy leather cleaner, warm soap water, even a little bit of rubbing alcohol. No dirt come off at all. I have touch a brand new m5 before, that makes me thinking, is the steering wheel sticky when it was brand new because of the M car need grip on steering wheel? or the car is "old" that steering wheel start become sticky? Personally, I don't think 2019 is old haha. So does anyone have the same issue on same year and about same mileage? or anyone has any suggestions on what is the next step I should do? The steering just feels a little bit sticky, not that real old car sticky.

Previous owner probably had oily hands. You need to agitate the leather with a brush and leather cleaner and work the oil and dirt out of it.

Check out some videos by Ammo on YouTube for some good tricks.

That's what I tried. I tried bunch of cleaners, but no dirt come off at all. That makes think, is the steering just feels like it because of the m car?

The F90 steering wheel is terrible. Mine has lots of bumps and odd shapes on it. Not smooth at all compared to by previous M.

Mine is not sticky at all. I think the steering wheel is great. I do wish the aluminum was dark aluminum. I believe every car I have driven has bumps on the back for grip.

Leatherique , sonny.
liberally apply Leatherique rejuvenator all over the steering wheel. let it soak in in a warm environment. put in sun but no direct sunlight hitting wheel.
24 hours-days...

Wipe off with leatherique pristine clean and microfiber.

take a drop of dawn and warm water in a drinking glass with a soft toothbrush and gently brush the tri-color threads.
wipe with microfiber

good as new i promise

Water and a microfiber towel. Give it a good scrubbing with a wet mf towel. Dry with a clean dry microfiber towel. Done. No chemicals necessary.
