carplay only display half of screen

hi everyone, I have a 2019 m5 competition. I have the carplay connected. Is this normal? it only occupied half of the screen

Normal! You have to get it coded to have it full screen

There are some vendors that do it remotely. I think R33_rgsport does it.

With I-Level 21-03-5xx and above, fullscreen CarPlay can be enabled via coding. Use Bimmercode or E-Sys on headunit (NBT-EVO) and set CARPLAY_FULLSCREEN flag under HMI to 0x01 (aktiv). No need to do the older USB or ENET .ini hack.

I have contacted him. He said if I don't have a car battery charger, he is not confident do it remotely
