BMWCCA discount for 2 series

I got a reply from BMWNA on the 2 series discount: "A decision has not been made regarding any discounts for the 2 Series. We suggest checking the website for updates once you take delivery of your vehicle."

So, there ya have it. :/

What! They know they will put it on there, why not just do it... What are they waiting for!!!!! I guess they won't want us cheap people to buy the car at initial launch.

I called BMWCCA to renew on Friday. They had no news on when the 235 would get added to the rebate list. I'm betting it'll be a couple months and $500.

"BMW NA has come to us today and said that they have decided not to offer a rebate on this car at this time.

This is a corporate decision that spans across the board. Even their own employees are not eligible for rebates or discounts on this model.

I am sorry as I know this will be disappointing.

typical, they did this with the 1 series then the next year they offered the discount. Its sad cause the new 4 series and 3 series the discount is offered right as it came out.

I am not currently a member, but could I join, pay my $48 yearly due and be eligible for a $500 rebate on the 228i I just ordered? I take delivery Wednesday.

No you have to be a ongoing member for over a year to receive the discount

FAQ:
What if my membership lapsed for one day within the year immediately preceding delivery?
A: Unfortunately, the rebate will be denied. Even a lapse of one day during the 365 days immediately
preceding delivery disqualifies you from this program. To be sure that you have not had any lapse in
membership, you can check the “Member Since” date on your current membership card or contact
our office at rewards@bmwcca.org for a quick update.

Does anyone know when the rebate was available for the 135i. I know it wasn't when it first came out in 08. But it was the next year in 09. I never followed to see when it actually became available.

Do you have a sort of template for the email we could all use and just change names and how many years had membership, etc? This way its made known to BMWCCA that we are all dissatisfied with the same matter.
