This is my best 100-200 on the f90
100% stock hardware, 2018 f90 Swedish 98 octane fuel which isn't anywhere near 98 but it's the best we have apart from e85. Powerlab Sweden/HP Performance ECU/TCU stage 1 Next year I will remove the upper cats and maybe try a e30 map. But I'm very pleased with the car, the TCU map changed the gearchanges to feel like a DCT gearbox (very familiar to my old f80) and driven easy it still feels stock. Ofc there are faster cars here but I wonna keep my rods in my engine for now 🤣 |

thanks man, supposed to do a private track event this weekend so I can finally get some 1/4 data. I have the TCU now but my car is still impossible to launch, wheel spin or bog no in-between.

As soon as flags show up launch don't build boost. My best was 2.63 recently.

Not the results I was expecting, but it's nice to have the data to back it up. Although a personal best on an actual drag strip, I have gone faster. This has happened before where I get a bad or low low batch of Ethanol. My trims were low and average timing was off 5* I am happy with the trap speed. I'm going to go back to focusing on 60-130 and dial my fuel back in. I'll be back!!

My best 1/4 times have been 1.61-1.65s in the 60'. Your trap speed is pretty strong, I've never been over 132. Your 60-130 time smokes mine 😂 |

Good to know on the tuning. When the time comes I may message you.
I'm running 285 front 295 rear PS4s on the factory 789 wheels and Dinan HAS kit. Don't have any data to compare but I feel like both have helped off the line grip. But once temps are mid 40's or less it doesn't hook. |

I have found the cause for my inconsistent trims. I thought it was low E content but I have an exhaust leak at the downpipe connection. I could smell raw exhaust inside car but not at rear of tailpipe. Seems to be minor but it's enough to cause a loss in boost and make my fuel trims drop. 3lb boost and 7* timing loss. 😬

quick question slightly related to the logging discussion, what is "trim"? I understand it has to deal with fuel delivery but that's not an SAE defined PID so I'm wondering if anyone knows the math behind it. Back when I tuned other cars I used to monitor injector duty cycle and pump duty cycle to make sure there was headroom in the fuel system. Those PIDs don't seem to be available on the M5 or maybe I'm not looking at the right place.
