Might as well thread jack this - is the Shawn that is on here that is super helpful, the same person behind the cable links I keep seeing:

I bought my cable from the above and it came with a $100 option to do remote coding. Has anyone gone this route and is the person doing the remote coding the same Shawn? Any security issues with doing this?

As far remote coders, it's safe as long as the "coder" is known in this community. I believe some of the sponsors may do remote coding or local coding, check.
