Remote App issue: FIXED

Hello

Many of you were reporting issues with the remote app, specifically with MY18 and not being able to log in or map your vehicle in the app.

We have pushed out an update to the backend that fixed a bug. I would ask that you test and give us feedback if your issues are fixed.

We have tested it with internal vehicles at our office and they are working correctly.

I tried registering an account in the BMW Remote app on my iPhone. I called the # that the app gave me. The customer service agent told me I need to go to the dealer because I was Canadian which is weird because the app told me to call the number once I selected I was from Canada.

The login issue for MY18 vehicles is fixed, but the Send to Car functionality is still not functional.

Is this a new vehicle? The retailer should have created an account for you. If this is a pre-owned vehicle you will need to visit a retailer and have them create an account and verify ownership.

If you send me the last 7 of your VIN I can verify if there is an account on file.
