I agree. I see no issue with shifting into gear while the car is idling high. It’s never been an issue and doesn’t feel at all like it’s adding any stress to transmission
Yeah i dont think 1500 rpms will put stress on the tranny. I mean theres over 600 hp being pushed through the transmission when you punch it. Seems to be just fine and 1500 rpms wouldnt seem to be an issue. I dont do that because i personally love the cold start with catless downpipes. Great start to my morning!

I too put mine into reverse immediately, and it doesn't seem to stress the tranny like it would have on an older automatic transmission where you could feel and hear a clunk. It simply goes into gear and lowers the idle without any drama as soon as you move. Interestingly enough, if you come to near stop again, the idle goes back up until your moving along again.
