Interesting, because that is all I do. I have a brush that is shaped like a small cone and i get in there and scrub the grit from the inside and spray it down. You would think I taped a hose to the pipes and let it run lol

Thank you sir! I don't like to be the one responsible for pressuring anyone in anyway - but hell, we got one life to live - buy the damn car!

Thank you. High Praise, I hope the folks over at Porsche don't mind I just rebranded one of their colors! lol

lol I apologize for getting too dialed in with details and words every now and then. Just know that those posts are over the course of 8 months of threads and updates. Each one started as a note in my iphone and added lines here and there lol i'm not a savage that writes all day!

I didn't ask my wife about a new car, nor did I let her know I ordered one. I just showed up

Thank you sir! I'm expecting #2 (girl) in June 2022. I have an 18 month old Boy already. No excuses sir! It's the ultimate dad car! Congrats on your growing family!

Thank you! IND had told me about the black ones, but I closed my eyes and imagined them looking too much like "black chrome" besides the titanium matches great on the polished edges of the 789M wheels

Amazing build, maybe I can own a M5 in 5 years if prices drop to my price range and the m340i is paid off… probably 10 years lol
I too, would admire cars on here 11 years ago when I first joined. I always wondered what these guys did for work, how they made their money, how they did it. Keep working hard man, make good decisions and choices (personal and financial) and the rest will find a way to show up! Although paying off a car is the right move, and one I have done on 2/3 cars that I have traded in - you can explore the options of trading in as long as youre not upside down on the deal

Love the fashion grey. Is it metallic? Can't help but wonder how it would look next to my lime rock grey metallic. Seems similar but likely a bit lighter than LRG. I love my LRG but I think fashion grey is what I was hoping LRG would be.

Your car looks gorgeous. I've seen that F82 CS for a year now. I get my hair cut at Not Your Father's Barbershop, just behind the cars.

Looking forward to seeing your car around town!

The third and final outfit change for the engine bay of my F90. As per usual, Shoutout to IND-Distribution and Ryan for getting the "M Performance Carbon Extension pieces" overnighted to me, along with some 5mm spacers.. as some new Michelins have found their way onto my car... 305's - loaded. I'll be reporting back once alignment and final adjustments are over with tmrw morning.

I put off buying this carbon piece set solely because I really only wanted the front piece, and hated spending this much for what it is lol, but in an effort to satisfy the itch.. here you go..

Dropping in for some minor updates…

Goldenwrench LCI shadow line / reverse light delete

Decided to change up the plate frame for the Black aluminum frame with IND lettering. Love how the black accent on the frame picks up on the dark edges of the tails, and the carbon wing and diffuser.

I had seen a member here post some parts for sale. When I scrolled through the pics I noticed a carbon fiber engine accent I had not yet seen.

Needless to say- a handful of texts and a 1-2-3 on PayPal, a week later she's got some new bits to show off..

Dinnman carbon fiber engine accent/ surrounds

Looking good. Do you have any good POV sound clips of the exhaust? And any outside the car as well? Would you say it's loud or droney for regular driving? (I'm asking from my wife's perspective if you know what I mean lol)

What is going on at the gas pump? I see the higher octane, but $10-$13 dollars/gallon?

I've only ever filled with race fuel after I got the F90- so my experience on prices is dismal.

A very good friend of mine who has not only owned more cars in the last year than I have in my life, but can make a grown man squeal when he's behind the wheel- anyway, he's explained the benefits of mixing and using these fuel types and also showed me where to find it here in FLL. I had no idea how and why race fuel was beneficial until I got this car.

I've only ever paid above $12 a gallon for 103 octane. Seems normal to me!

I try and fill a half a tank or so once a month.

Very interesting! I asked about putting race gas in my 2020 M550 and was told it is useless. Do you notice any power gains from the 103? I have a gas station up here in NH that sells it. It's about the same price too.

I read somewhere here months ago about a member reporting something like 6-8hp difference. Maybe a smidge more- but after you've become used to a car with over 600 HP, small gains like that are almost a waste of words!

I do notice the smell when idling/cold start- is definitely "sweeter" or more apparent. Maybe if I finally hooked up draggy- I would see a minimal, at best, difference in acceleration or climb through the power bands in various gears. Not something I've been like "OMG THE DIFFERENCE" by.

I'm the guy that cleans his shoes prior to putting the shoe horns in- and placing back in my shoe closet- so when I hear "this is great for the cars maintenance" I'm sold!

Thanks! I'm going to try a half tank when she comes out of hibernation in a few weeks. We shall see if I notice anything performance wise. I do love the smell of race gas burning as well.
