I'd think you will be fine. Production runs until June or July. Doubt you would have delays that long.
Thinking it lands at my dealer by March?
Mine was about 2 months, but you are on the east coast, so they saves another 2 weeks. March is definitely possible.

Still can't get over how well this car drives. BMW deserves serious props. This green is so sick too. Loving this car. Planning on lots of mods. Exhaust plus wheels (BBS likely but perhaps HREs, probably in silver), debadge, maybe regular M5 front grill in black and sides. IDK. Also need a proper set of winter tires. Looking last night but can't find any. My preference is Alpins.

First wash today. Always ask dealers to do minimum PDI (ie no wash and leave all wrappers on). I have a defective right hood vent. Looks like they put the protective white plastic on when paint was still wet. Stripped when taking sticker off the gloss black.

No shrink wrap comes on matte cars. My grey one was covered in white protective film. Not so easy coming off. This one was easy. Car was filthy though.

This is my first car with matte paint. Quality is super impressive. Big leap for me as I usually hate matte paints. Also, usually stick to black or gray or silver paints. This green is magnificent. Was worried I'd hate it in the sun but this is not the case. While I loved the Brands Hatch, so happy I took the chance on green.

Rinsed. Foamed. Rinsed. Foamed. Rinsed. Blow dried. Applied some matte detailer/sealant to all paint. Applied BeadMaker to all trim and carbon fiber and glass. Ran out of daylight. This weekend wheels are coming off and will apply BeadMaker. Matte paint was a joy. Not a single imperfection, which I can't get over.

One bummer about this car is no new car smell. No amazing leather smell. It's just a weird sort of almost musty aroma. Very strange.

Looks amazing, before or after the wash! The green definitely has some gold/bronze when the sun hits it right.

Cosign on the wheels/exhaust. Please please please don't throw bigger/heavier wheel on it. Would defeat the entire purpose of the car 😇.

That dude that threw 22in HREs is bugging out, why add unsprung weight? They tried to cut corners on weight, and then you wanna make things heavier? Smh. 😔

^^^I would never use bigger or heavier wheels. These wheels weigh a ton and wouldn't think of going heavier.

My week 47 M5CS build finally took its first step and updated yesterday to “scheduled for production”. Anyone here who has taken delivery, know how long from yesterday to when it arrives at my dealership? Assuming no port delays. I live in Vegas.

It should be about 2 weeks from when it starts production until it's built. Then it is about 4 weeks on a boat to get to the port in California. The rest of the time can't really be determined because it depends on how long the car waits to get on/off a boat.

Some cars are waiting for stereo amplifiers at the ports, so this may add a week or two to processing time. Remember, logistics is still a hot mess....Internal contact on this to confirm.

What dealer did you order from? I have a 3rd week Jan allocation from New Country, know those guys quite well, their first CS is coming in a few weeks followed by another, and then mine...

A fun thing to look forward to in the dead of winter.

I wondered about that! It’s ok, I’m sure the drive makes up for it.

To Ex -Stig and other M5 CS owners who daily drive their cars, does that plastic piece in the crotch area bother you in day-to-day traffic when you go from gas to brakes? I sat in the M5 CS at my local dealer and it seems this would be an issue.

No issues for myself.

Maybe tall people have this problem.

I don't even notice it when I drive. Totally a non issue for me.
