Ready for another winter!!!

Slapped on my snows today and ready to own this winter! Here's a pic of the M5 making it home during a blizzard, while I passed floundering SUVs, Subarus and the likes on a hill! I have Pirelli Sotto Zero Serie 2s on my stock 20"rims. Best of luck to all this winter and don't play w/ the summer tires during.

Did you get different rims or used stock rims with the snow tires?

They truly are great! Also make sure you keep her in manual shift mode and lower gears, to get the most bite during a storm.

Man, I don't miss having to put on snows and drain the fluids from motorcycles and stick the battery on a tender...

Meanwhile, it was 87 here today...

Winter Tire Sizing

Can someone tell me what size winter tires I need to get for the stock 20" M Wheel 706M style? Also looking for recommendations on tire brand.

My 2020 BMW M5 is on order and should be arriving in 3-4 weeks. Want to have the winter tires on hand to put on once it arrives.

i can tell you what i did , i went and bought the exact same size as the summer tire which is 275 35 20 front and 285 35 20 back, i went for sottozeros first and the order got delayed so i ordered Pilot Alpin PA4s.
some people will tell you not get wide tires for the snow
this setup works just fine for me and for other members here on the forum

Yeah, we're gonna probably dip below 50 this week. Might have to actually turn on the heat.

And heated seats / steering wheel... We may even see the snowflake logo on our instrument panel soon !!! That logo has to pop up in the 50's cuz it's almost arctic tundra over here in LA...
