no big loss. We get it here in Canada and i used it for the first couple weeks and it's pretty much useless.

Got a display key with my M5C. Canada build. It's ok, pretty big, looks great, minimal functions. I just got two different coding programs so we'll see if I can unlock somethings.

does your lock screen have BMW or ///M on it ? mine has BMW and i saw one with ///M . do you think it can be coded ?

Mine has BMW on. I haven't seen an M one

Standard on every M5 here.

The only feature which I was looking forward to was Remote Parking.
Which is not even an option for this model. The key itself lacks the side button for this!

Anyone knows if this could be retro-fitted?

Has BMW figured out how to put a key ring on the display key yet? The display key for our 7 series just sits in a cabinet at the house because it is pretty useless.

Yeah I'm not understanding the appeal of a big clunky key that has to constantly be recharged. Much more of a novelty than anything else at this point.

Can't be retro fitted on the M5.

ive seen it on 2 M5s before . gonna do the break in service on tuesday and have a talk to my dealer. so your dealer told you that its only on the 7er ?
