What is the top speed limiter set to on the M5?

I can tell you mine hit 156 ( on gps ) and Im not sure what the speedo was reading because at that speed I was looking out the front of the car not looking down at the speedo , next time I will set up a dash cam on my instrument panel also, I do have a GPS reading on my windshield dashcam I am going to upload to my youtube when I get a chance.
I will also say.... 156 feels a lot faster than you imagine ... I had a LOT of road ahead of me and other drivers 2 miles up going 85 plus and i caught up to them really fast.. I found about 10 miles of flat open desert i am going to try it on next time ( abandon road )
The car pulled hard up to about 150 plus and started to let off, it pretty much stopped at 155 / 156 but I am sure my speedo was reading about 3 to 5 MPH higher so the car thinks it was doing close to 160 . I don't think it was done other than it did feel like it hit its limiter .. I was in "M" mode but in Drive not manual mode
Its funny it was kind of a spur of the moment thing I didn't set out to top out the car just on a LONG drive...( and the opportunely popped up meaning right road conditions ,etc ) and when you tell yourself ok lets do this and start hitting some really high speeds you start to think about your tires blowing out , or a wild animal running out in front of you, etc

Yes , you can purchase a Tuner .. there are a few on the market..
