You LA boys are WEAK!!!
Spoiled... Big difference, lolol...

I dunno how I survived east coast winters because he wasn't kidding - you see parkas and Canada Goose jackets coming out when we get into the 50's

some people will tell you not get wide tires for the snow
this setup works just fine for me and for other members here on the forum
Exactly, I went w/ exact same size and my summers, but went w/ Pirelli Sotto Zero serie 2s. The pic I posted in opening thread, was a pretty bad blizzard, in which I was passing Subarus, SUVs and the likes on a hill! They were floundering w/ their all season junk tires.

+1 just put the exact same setup on my ride Friday, runs like a champ in the snow.

How much did you pay for your puny 91 octane lately?
It's hurts a lil bit... But then I figure it balances out for not having to get winter wheels and storage space to put my summers away...

Sottozero 3 285's all around. First snow storm today and pushed through 4-5 inches of fresh snow with no problem at all.

My 2020 BMW M5 is on order and should be arriving in 3-4 weeks. Want to have the winter tires on hand to put on once it arrives.
Same size sottozero tire on stock rims with no issue from the big tires—
