I had 4 wires.

All done. Did not know this coding would erase other coding. Vic was able to get some of the items back. Couldn't remember everything that was coded. I do know I had adaptive cruise control coded to default to closest distance and to ignore steering wheel sensors. Vic did not know how to code those as of yet. But they look great and an easy hour of my time.

That does look amazing. Thanks for the confirm on the wires, part of me is hoping there are 5 for me as I've seen some people post they had 5. Would save me $150 bucks on install.

Good to know on coding. The only coding I have has been done by me with Bimmercode. I am surprised Vic didn't know how to code shortest distance ACC, pretty sure that's a common ask. Was the few things my list that BC can't do.

BTW, how you liking our QB? We miss him.

Ya I have a 2020 so would be interesting to find out build dates or those with 5 pins. Assume 2018/19. 2020 is a weird year. Combo of pre LCI and LCI in some regards. Completely unique in others.

So been having intermittent turn signal errors. Not every time I start the car. But every other time right now. Not happy about that.

I just installed euro lights last weekend and I have no errors at all. I would check that the pins are inserted all the way.

Ya I also noticed an issue with my passenger outer light. There's quite a gal between it and the trunk. Something happened when I tightened the bolts. Sucks cuz the outer ones took the longest to get to with thr most pieces that had to come off. FML.

No i was referring to the long drip trays that go along the trunk from windshield to tail lights. The smaller ones that line the inner tail lights is the only ones you appear to need.

Thanks for the update, a reminder of how complicated the software is on these cars...

Any future updates performed at the dealer, I'm assuming this will have to be recoded.

Yes, that's how it typically works. I did a similar thing when I retrofitted EURO laser lights on the G05. Dealer software updates would override the headlight coding and had to be re-coded.

For now I can't figure out why my passenger side light does not sit in the opening the same as the driver side. I can't get rid of this gap between the hood and the light itself. Very frustrating.

You did today? Never heard of a specific adapter preventing access to specific models. Doesn't make much sense and it works just fine on my X5

I'm using the unicarscan ucsi -2000 adapter and I get in no problem.
