The X7 has landed! Such a great compliment to the M5 in the stable and what a well rounded SUV! Here's some pics and hands down, best full size SUV, in every aspect. Power, handling, tranny, tech (has "hey bmw") like Siri, comfort, styling, you name it!

I’ve been drooling on it! However I’ve gotten kinda hooked on my Jeep Grand Cherokee TrailHawk’s off-road abilities... and the X7 doesn’t have the angles. Plus it’s 2x the $

love it,
having said that, that is some seriously wrinkled leather in the back seats and I would not have accepted that upon delivery.

Agreed. This keeps appearing on newer models (several threads on this for the X5).

And before anyone says it's a design trait, and it's supposed to be "gathered", compare the right from left of the upper seat backs. They don't match at all, and the wrinkles aren't originating at seams.

Supposedly, this is supposed to be a good off-roader as well, especially tech wise. The adaptive suspension and cameras adjust to all types of terrain, etc. However, i hear ya on $...

I never took notice, but I actually like the "gathered" look and honestly, the only seat that looks out of form, is the 3rd row driver side seat. IMO, first and second have a gathered look from the seams. It's super soft vernasca, that comes w/ the M package.

I realize my comment was really kind of a jackass comment. The car really looks great (even better in real life), and I hope you love driving it.

The only thing I was commenting on is the 3rd row fyi, otherwise solid, bro.!

I do not think so, Fegelein is a stand up guy, and him and and I have chatted on various threads. I believe he values our input as I value his.
It is a lovely car, just the 3rd row leather should be tighter, nothing wrong with mentioning that imo.
Respect. we all drive 100 K M5's lol.

A question on your comment about power. Does the 40i have sufficient power? I mean we drive M5s so power is important! I am considering the X7 and am concerned about the lack of power on the 40i for such a big car. Your thoughts on the 40i power would be appreciated. Thanks.

I drove one and felt like it was kind of just okay. We had an Mercedes R500 way back when and it reminded me of that with all the modern gizmos. I am going to give the G550 a test drive. It lacks a third row, but I love the looks.

All the reviews I've read and watched have been unanimous in praising both the X5 and X7. I think BMW has stepped-up their game in recent iterations.

Unfortunately, I can't pry my wife out of her 10 yr old Accord.

Just sat in one. Maxed out. $106k. Very nice. Rear seat room ok. Seems narrower than my Q7. Very luxurious seats. Power fold down seats a big gimmicky. Too slow for real daily use. Third row on par with Q7. Love the power side shades ect. Alcantera head liner. Beautiful interior. Middle row seats very comfortable.

Yes. Excellent mate for M5. But is it two times a Sienna?? (Yes LOL).

No worries and thanks! Get's a lot of looks and comments. Very rarely seen on roads, I haven't seen another yet and mine was only second delivery at dealership.
