Permanently turning off Lane Assist - Steering correction

New iX3 owner.

I was wondering if it's possible to permanently turn off the lane assist (and steering correction).
If I untick the functions, they are being re-enabled when I restart the engine.

Do I have to turn this off manually everytime I get in the car ?

Unless there is a coding solution to this , this is a EU regulation that came in along with speed limit warnings

Just wait until next year, tumour you won’t be able to disable Lane departure warning and speed limiters mandatory so you can’t exceed the current speed limit
We’ll see if that comes in , i unfortunately think it’s only a matter of time

Yes, seems to be only matter of time. I am sick of this active speed control "feature". I am living in Hungary where the speed limit database is a catastrophe. There are no roads where you are not able to face with improper speed limit values. Sometimes it is even dangerous... e.g: 60 km/h on a highway meanwhile valid limit is 130 km/h. I cannot even imagine how will it fit to the Hungarian traffic culture.
I do not know the status in other contours, but based on my experience here in Hungary, I think there are centuries where this active speed control (Speed limit) is even more dangerous than useful right now.

It’s not perfect in the U.K. it’s pretty good but not good enough.
Whilst you can override the speed with a swift push of the accelerator, that’s not a great experience.
