tire sizes

Hi guys I am looking for some advice
I drive 2019 M5C and use all season UHP tires on my car so I can use it year round in our area . Currently the car has Michelin A/S 3 plus that need replaced as they wore out after 13 k miles.
I liked the tires but did not love them .I feel that continental DWS 06 are better tires and I have used them on multiple cars and never had a problem
unfortunately, they are not available in our sizes which is
275/35/20 front
285/35/20 rear
I did talk to the shop foreman at dealership and he is telling me that I can do
275/30/20 front
285/30/20 rear
so I can use DWS 06
I talked to couple of guys at Tire Rack and one guy said it is ok and the other guy said he can't recommend as the diameter is 1" less
unfortunately not a lot of choices in this category and I am not trying to start a debate about dedicated winter set
my question :
is any one using 275/30/20 front
and 285/30/20 rear and any issues to be concerned about before I let the dealer order the tires
thanks in advance

No. Just get a set of winter tires and a set of PS4S's for the summer. You drive a M5, don't let it get bottlenecked with a set of all seasons. You can either get a separate set of 19" rims to mount winter tires on or just get winters for the stock factory rims. Plus, most dealers should offer a tire storage service? My dealer charges less than an hour of their labor charge for a year of storage (and includes tire swap labor in the price) so it's a no-brainer given they charge you 30 mins labor just for swapping summers to winters (2 separate set of rims and tires).

The 30 profile will be too low, and noticeably so - either go with the correct sizes, or as another suggested, have a dedicated summer and winter set. All seasons are a compromise and on an M5 you lose out on its dynamic range.

unfortunately my dealer does not offer storage
Also I might be replacing the car with C4S
I have driven my current car for over a year with AS and noticed some difference in driving feel and I am willing to accept that compromise to avoid hassle of having two sets of wheels and tires
so any safety risk to having the 30 instead of 35

Well if you're looking at the next car already, you should be fine with that setup. The worse that can happen? Your speedometer might be a bit off.

love the car , but I like switching cars frequently.
I am sure I will miss the M5, and have not decided on switching 100 % yet

I had 285 35 20 FR 305 35 20 RR 4S but with stage 2 was having launch issues so ended up changing to 285 35 20 FR 295 35 20 RR Sport Cup2 Connect heat cycled. Traction is better and reason for smaller size is due to 305 not available in sport cup w connect and 295 35 is closer to one height.

The foreman suggested 285/35/20 front and 295/35/20 back as an option, but unfortunately DWS 06 does not have the 295/35/20 size

You could fit 285/35/20 front and rear

Just search by tire sizes and you should see 2 all season tires (Bridgestone and P zero) from TR.
