Side Bolsters and Headrest
When saving the seat positions, the side bolsters and headrest position is saved, but only "activates" or sets to the saved positions after the seat belt is clicked in.
It seems that this only works intermittently in my car. Maybe 8/10 times, it works, the other 20% the side bolsters and headrest stay in the "exiting" position even when the seat belt is clicked. Am I missing something here? Doing something in an incorrect order? Also, a p.s.... How do you turn off the whole car if you haven't started it, but the electronics are on? So, going from standby to full off? I have idrive set for turning everything off after the engine is off and door is opened. Thanks! |

I'll have to check, so far did not notice any issues with the seats.

If it's anything like my X5M, with your foot OFF of the brake pedal you just press the start button once or twice more and everything turns off.

How to turn off radio, etc
Crazy as it sounds, after you turn your car off, and the radio and electronics won’t turn off, push in the radio volume knob for 2 secs and everything will shut down.

I just leave my car running all the time, love the carbon foot print.

I just had mine into the dealer for the 1200 service on Friday and there was a software update that just came out. They didn't know exactly what was included in the update, but maybe some of these little issues are being worked out?
I, personally, was hoping the CarPlay integration would get better, but no luck. It still sucks. There was also a service bulletin on some exhaust bolts that needed to be tightened, FWIW. |
