Test flashing emergency brake lights?

Hey guys, I couldn't find this listed any where other than how to code it. I just coded the flashing emergency/hard brake lights (as opposed to inner brake lights).

The coding worked as far as I can tell but I am now wondering if there is any way to test if it is working other than have someone follow behind me while driving..

I slammed on the brakes right after passing a street sign at night. I could see the flashing in the reflection off the sign. You really don't have to slam on them too hard... Make sure that no one is behind you.

Thanks. From what I could see in the reflection, they are working nicely. I will probably confirm next time I have a friend or something following me some where.
