What is the procedure to launch the car?

Tried to do a race start today but not sure if it activated. Does anything light up on the dash to know your in race start? What settings does the car have to be in?

Yes. It says launch control active with a checkered flag.

Everything in sport plus
Manual mode
DSC fully off

Press hard on the brakes then press accelerator all the way to the floor. Release brakes.

Don't worry about shifting as it will shift for you as long as you're in launch control mode.

Brother this is bmw and not Nissan 😂
Launching your car will not void your warranty.

I'm still waiting on my M5 to be delivered so I figured asking here was just as good of a solution as calling to ask....
