Hi all, swapping steering wheels and have a question.

Who knows what this piece is:



There's a piece on my old steering wheel that plugs into the other port:



but not one on the new wheel. I think it has to do with the DAP but can't figure out if I need to plug it in or I can leave it out all together.

The first picture is the touch detection module, and the wire is for your DAP. If you leave it unplugged, you will just not have DAP. On my '23, I have two modules, one for the DAP and the other for volume controls.
