Defies reality. A 2.8. 10.9 car is not going to lose to a 3.5 11.8 SUV all things equal. Just “entertaining” video.

the above video looks like it was taken in the winter......tires were probably cold...

but nonetheless is entertaining

Those guys are idiots on all their videos.
We don't know what settings the M5 was in, the guy is so dumb that he doesn't even know how to launch the car. When he originally reviewed the car, he was comparing it to the hellcat.
So the hole video is a setup to promote American muscle 😉

^This. Zero practical value. The F90 M5 will not lose to a Trackhawk in a real race.

These guys do not qualify as automotive journalists. They barely know anything about the cars they review. They also test cars in Colorado at a mile above sea level, so the numbers/results typically reported are only relevant to a small minority of people. I've seen bad drivers in M4's on tracks fall several seconds behind per lap to wrx's driven by good drivers. If you don't know how to drive or setup your car, you can lose to a lot of things!
