My car feels like a go-kart!

Compared to the 5 series!

It feels so low and light, and the seats are hugging me in! But I can feel every bump in the road and there is much more road noise! Also the centre console looks so old and basic.

It's strange before I thought my car was a real luxury premium car, but the 5 series really shows it up on that front. However for handling and fun factor the 3 series is streets ahead.

It is noticeable how different the 5 is to the 3.

Glad yours is all sorted now.

5 is closer to the 7 than the 3, but to be fair the 5 does share its platform with the 7.

So you get the luxury car feel but also the boat like handling.

The 530d M Sport really is a boat compared to my 330d, albeit my car is on ACS springs though.

my 430d with adaptive M is the closest thing to 5 series comfort and coupe like handling i have ever felt.

The 335d X drive was shit. Handles like a 5 series looks like a 3 series and this also had adaptive M! Put me off ever owning a 435 with the raised springs or any x drive. Id rather have a 535d with Adaptive than the 3.

Apparently they have fixed this on the 335d on the LCI though.

Problem is only the F30 is fixed. F32 and F33 arent yet.

Id like to see if its really fixed or just improved.

I will tell you in March!

I've bought some ACS springs for it anyway though, as even if it handles ok i still don't think i can live with the visual aspect of xdrive.

Its is incredible what just a week in another car does to ones expectations.

Can..not....WAIT...to get out of the Mini!

F10 is a beast Teaston to park etc. 6GC at %m+ is ridiculous IMO, saw a chap at the supermarket 4 point turning his barge! Need Motorway lanes everywhere but what a great interior and shape. The F10 in MSport still looks sharp 6 years on, its a classic beautiful BMW proportion, they nailed in IMO.

Next Gen in the UK 530D X Drive with Integral Active will be a great prospect 4WD 4WSteer.

I found the F10 fine for parking actually, that's something that definitely wouldn't put me off buying one.

I still can't believe how loud it is in my car though, it's as if the 5 series had double glazing!

I came from two back to back A4s (B8) and I'm staggered at the difference in road noise between the A4 and F30. I thought the HK wasn't so good at first - I now realise that it struggles to overpower road noise at lower volumes.

is that the S8 you got the lease deal on? (sorry if it wasn't you) but I remember a thread about it.

If it was full write up and photos needed in the OT section, I bet that's a bruiser when it gets going
