F90 and Integral Active Steering
My research shows that the F90 M5 does not have this feature.
I have both the M550 and the F90 M5. Around town, the M550 with IAS feels smaller than the M5. You can really tell that the back end is "sliding" around to help with turns. It noticeably reduces turning radius but is definitely over programmed. I think it's a great feature (as it is on the Porsche turbo and GT cars). I wish the M5 had the IAS like the M550 but dialed back a bit. M

Not to get the thread off topic, but how else would you compare the 2?
I really like my M550 but it's getting mixed reviews from those expecting more "sport".

I could create a long list but I think the most obvious difference if you drive both back to back is how much softer/floaty the M550 feels when compared to the M5 in Comfort suspension mode. I guess I was hoping BMW could tune the suspension over a wider range of soft to firm. Understandably, there are obvious reasons for the differences.
I guess unless you are a hardcore M fan (me) and plan on taking the car to its limits (me) and want the best performance sedan you can buy (me), I think 90% of people not too proud to drive a non-M car would be very happy with the M550.
