Shag you were right I changed to 6NS in FA, coded HU_NBT and its working.

Actually the data seems to be screwed after it showed emails and texts initially, time for a re-think, everything else is okay

So I had the emails and texts showing initially but that functions disappeared.

I switched to 6NK instead of 6NS but it hasn't made any difference.

Went back to 6NH and did again with 6NS still no luck.

Looked in CAFD under HU NBT all values looked good to go, still not working with mail or texts

Anybody got any advice?

My BB Z10 connected the first time around and pushed mails and texts but now zilch.

BT audio is working and Office is showing in Idrive.

All sorted after trawling through post after post, Kon saved the day.

I didn't use the option button on Idrive to activate office, the phone bluetooth profile doesn't show data but nevertheless it's working.

Sorted 2nd phone option at same time.

Glad it worked. Which options have you put in your VO?

As for data connection, could you try adding 6AR... Should let you tether your phone. Just curious if it works as I think it does.

I had Internet, apps etc all as factory options pretty much loaded, it was the dick of so called Business Sales specialist that told me Office came with Pro Nav.

Hence having to do the coding.

Try 6NS yesterday, it works. BT Audio and office.
But my iphone can only display sms on idrive, email doesn't work.

My 328i have 609, 6NH, 6NR. As other post, 609 should include the BT audio, but I can not use it and find the BT audio option in iDrive.

it seems we are suffering from the same problem. it says microphone condition parameter error.

the model is 328M, same i-level as yours.

I just changed my car from 6NH to 6NS, bluetooth audio is working as well as office (just quickly checked the texts, didn't see emails)

The quality of the audio is very poor by the way, not that I'm going to use it for audio streaming, but it's really poor with an irritating high pitched tone in the background...

So I coded the office feature... however no matter what I did, neither emails nor texts are showing up. I have iphone 5s, jailbroken. Bluetooth notifications are on... Every time I click on office and office today, says no messages to display.

First of all, do you have a NBT or a CIC ?
And how did you do your coding ? VO coding or FDL Coding ?

If your coding is correct, did you check on bmw website the compatiblity of your phone with your car ?
In french bmw website, they say that iphone 5s (iOS 7.1) cannot display sms or emails

you need to make sure that office box is checked in the idrive bluetooth devices configuration... and have notifications enabled on the phone too...

for emails you actually need the iphone app closed completely for it to work

I got the iPhone 6 to work with texts only. No matter what I did about email, it wasn't showing up. I followed all the instructions on closing the app, iPhone settings etc... Nothing.

Also, it's odd, but I don't have office checkmark on Idrive under Bluetooth once it's connected. Just phone and contacts.

I followed the instructions to change the VO then code the module. Did the 6ns and high beam headlights dazzle thingy at the same time.

I have 6NS option in my 2016 340. While Office is showing up in iDrive, none of the email not text worked...

The dealer pointed to BMW website for phone compatibilities for 6NS, it showed iPhone is not compatible for emails and texts...what a wait for a $300 option -
