Does anyone wish the interior lighting was better?
I had an E class for a couple of years while living in Europe. The led interior lighting was leaps and bounds better -- especially in the daytime.
During the day in the M5, any decent sunshine completely washes out the led strips. I have it turned up to max bright this morning and I thought there was something wrong as you could hardly see any color. When I pulled back into the garage, confirmed there was no issue - just the daytime sun taking over. only had the car a couple weeks so still figuring things out. Looks great at night though. |

I'm happy with the LED lighting but I personally don't care for how it looks in the daytime.
My biggest gripe thus far is popping/crackling sounds from the dash trim. It's too plasticky and shows (or sounds rather). |

I like the lighting; my only gripe with it is at night, if you don't have the auto dimming feature turned on (for night driving), there is an annoying glare line on the driver's side mirror.
