My APR-modified RS7P was stupid fast but so is the M5. Both modified, that's a tough call... I can't call it from seat-of-the-pants but the stats indicate the M5 will win on equal footing but only by a hair.

Where the M5 will win is from a roll, the RS7's tranny won't allow proper shifts unless it's in AMAX mode which can only realistically happen from a dig.

@Op: just brake-boost and do it at the last minute, it works nicely.

The RS3 platform has been very stout - I am wondering about all of the weak points of DCT setups - specifically trans and clutch. You say the trans is built (who? Dodson?) - but the clutch is not - that cannot last.

Again - it's stout - but now we are talking modified versus stock - so there is always a quicker and faster car.

Completely agree, the tranny makes the difference, the RS7 motor is plenty strong. I love the way the car looks, that'll be what I miss most when it goes but excited about the M.

Brake boosting is the best way to launch the M5. It never fails me. It is like 0.2s slower but who cares

The RS7 is definitelt slower stock vs stock but it is a more consistent launching car. So is tge E63S for that matter. Never the less would have the M5 over both any day, all day

I drive above posted speed limits most all of the time but the second some one trys to engage me in a race, no matter what they are driving, I ALWAYS make it clear I want no part of that shit. I'ts not nearly as bad in the M5 but in any of my Ferrari's it got so aggressive some time that I would exit the free way to get away from them...part of the reason I sold my 488 Spider. I'm not 7 and my dick just isn't that small plus, I'm not interested in going to jail for vehicular homicide when I or my race buddy kills an unsuspecting third party driver. Save that shit for the track people. Jesus

Stock trans, upgraded clutch.

Car is nuts - ran the 1/2 mile last weekend in blistering hot weather and it did 185.

185 is a solid MPH. I equate everything to GTR's as that is what I race - and that is a solid Alpha 10 level run (about 1050-1100 awhp for the GTR).
Stock trans is impressive - it will be interesting to see how long they last. Who is doing the clutch? Dodson? Or someone like SSP?

Bro so true! People will even rev their engine when they see me with my kids in the back seat. Just fucking juvenile and dangerous. I've never done it and never will.

Clutch is by a company out of the Ukraine. Seems to be holding up well so far. But then I don't abuse the car, just at the track.

I did race an RD12 (slightly faster than an Alpha 12) at the event and he had about 14-15mph on me. Then again his build probably cost 4-5x of mine as well.

Goal next time is 190+ with a slight turbo change... all else the same.

The IROZ shop car on Syvecs is getting close to 195+ mph. It does 60-130 in 3.8s and 100-200kmph in 3.4s.

Solid times again. 3.8 is also about an A10 level. My earlier similar build ran a 3.89 60-130. These RS3's are doing so well - so quickly. It's a super solid platform. Good luck and post your results.

Garage List
After 7 months of ownership I finally ended up at a light with a gentleman who wanted to play. He was in a supercharged corvette (I am unsure of exactly which model). No LC, no revs, just green and depress pedal. When we got to the next light he had a sad look but clearly wanted to go again. After two defeats he stopped trying
