It's a world time watch. My local time is on top (about 11:50), where it says Hong Kong, I'm actually not in HK but Taiwan is the same time zone. Now, if you look at lower right where you see Los Angeles, it's 19:50 by matching the inner time zone disc (but in reality right now LA is 20:50). Patek has older design so it doesn't accounts for daylight savings time.

If I travel, all I have to do is press the button on the top left to switch to the cities that I'm at to 12'o clock position and the hour hands and disc will move accordingly to the local time.

I bought the BMW Ice watch Chrono, if you go to ebay they are having a fire sale on them. Yea its a quartz watch, and it has no lume and no sweep second hand but it looks good and has a BMW logo on it. I paid $100 for it. I quickly swapped out the band with a nato M tri-striped band and it looks great. Wear it when I don't want to wear anything fancy.
