I think the wrap is the most practical approach if you don't love one of the offered colors - if you take it to a reputable vendor, it's almost impossible to tell that there's anything extra on the car.

Plus, the cost is in the range of an individual paint color, so we actually DO have access to all of the "good" BMW colors.

Just get the no cost option (AW) from the factory and save yourself a few bucks on the initial M2C cost....

Thanks man! The V7 is definitely my daily "beater" bike. It's pathetically under powered but it's still darn fun to ride and gets a lot of attention.

dd= a truck
gt3=no explanation needed
m2= burnouts, track, nice weekend drives.
kids and car seats usually in truck, once in a while M2.

I feel exactly the same way, except that this would be be my garage queen/track toy, in which case I would argue that being completely happy with the color matters a bit more. I mean, if I had a GT3 in my stable, as you suggested you will acquire soon, then I could care less that the color on my beater car wasn't the perfect.

I don't understand this thread. They subtracted one color and added two for the M2C so you have more options than the outgoing car. That's what BMW offers. If color is that important to a person for their "beater" then just buy a different car.
