I know the world is falling apart, but I have no idea Interest rates for cars were that high. Call me ignorant. My credit score is above 800. Are any of you guys getting better than 5.59? My dealer did say that maybe next month when we get the car interest rates might drop but for now I’m locked in at 5.59%.
I think it's very smart that you locked in your interest rate. I think the rate you got it's normal for now and I can see them going possibly higher soon. I would continue to shop around and see if you can get lowered. Congratulations on ordering your M5! This is my first BMW and M5 at that. Can't wait to see pictures once you get it.

I financed mine at .9% in January '22. BMWFS had the .9 rate in December '21 for the end of year. It went up to 1.9% in January. I saw this and politely asked my dealer if BMWFS would honor the December rate as my car sat at the port for a few weeks due to missing RAM. They went for it and I kinda lucked out there.

Same here with our '22 540i. Ordered in Sept of '21 and took delivery in Jan. '22 but our dealer honored the 0.9% even though current was 1.9% just like you mentioned.

I got 5.99%, also with 800+ FICO. Mine was pre-owned so already higher.

I just got 5.99% for 72 months (new vehicle) via BMW. It was even cheaper than my local credit union. Sounds like BMW Finance is starting to offer some better rates since car sales are slowing down somewhat.

What does your SE stand for? There's a bunch that can be abbreviated "SE". Thanks!
